Welcome to Ollipops!
There has been a steady, and growing, body of opinion and evidence over the last 30 years or so that, in general, feet are born fit for purpose, and the old approach of encasing developing feet in shoes which restrict the natural movement of the foot prevents healthy foot development in children, and causes long-term health problems. Words such as the oxymoron "barefoot shoes" are widely used, but there is no single, universally accepted definition of barefoot in the context of shoes. Other than the soft-soled leather shoes made by Bobux and Starchild, which can be seen as truly "barefoot", the best we can do for our kids' feet is to provide footwear which replicates as best it can an environment without shoes. Fortunately, there are now lots of manufacturers who follow this principle.
Ollipops has been promoting and stocking shoes for healthy foot development in babies and kids for almost the whole of the 21st Century! We became an official online Bobux stockist nearly 17 years ago (Bobux designed the original soft-soled leather shoe for babies), and now stock Bobux Soft-Sole, Step-Up, i-Walk and KID , Livie & Luca, Pediped Grip 'n' Go and Flex, Starchild Soft-Soled leather shoes (designed and made here in England), Sole Mania (soft-soles for adults!), Froddo and Moccis, with more brands coming on board regularly. We ship all over the world, and aim at all times to bring you the best deals and and a level of customer service you'll find hard to match.
Ollipops.com is mostly about bringing you the best children's shoes for healthy feet, but we've always had a passion for finding funky but functional baby gear that you won't see on every high street, so, for instance, you will also find Beauty & The Bib, Bubbaroo swaddling and sleep bags, Bobo-Buddies and lots of other stuff here - hold your mouse over Brand Collections in the menu above for a quick overview.
Above all, we are here to help! Whatever your query, please get in touch. You can call us on 44 1730 444100 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
